    Shock Question

I was thinking about cutting a coil off of my h&r sports but I'm rocking factory gas shocks. If I cut the coil or 2 will my shocks blow out on me?

How old are those shocks? The average life of OE shocks is not more than 60k. A single coil cut won't blow new, or nearly new, OE shocks, but they won't last as long.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I wouldn't even cut the coils, it's just simply wrong and stupid. Save your money and go for something better and adjustable like gc

The shocks are actually pretty new, they're still stiff and they're called KYB "Gas A Just" made in japan. I only want to do this because I'm in college and I want to get my car a little lower.

KYB's are good shocks. They'll probably be fine for a while, definitely would be a LOT better off with some sport shocks though.
