Thats great. The akg may be a tad larger. I cant prove or diplsprove it. Maybe when the motor sits on mine it doesnt compress 1mm more since its polyurethane. Did u notice the mounts squish down once fully mounted?
Either way ill post pics tmrw morning of how much i hammered/ruined my fresh paint job.lol its under the bar so i could care less.

This weekend ill measure the mounts i guess

You answered my question tho as soon as u said stock mounts. Thanks again for useful info. I know theres more ppl with this bar, where they at!?

Btw, have u upgraded tranny mounts yet?lol
I always suggest e21 janks. oem and solid. car shoulda came that way IMO
m20 is plenty. im simply a drifter.

no idea how much this helps but i have I.E bar on my vert which has stock mounts and it rubs a little same spot. wack the bar or treat it as a make shift "sound upgrade" only after taking it off did i notice how much more quiet the car is without that vibration growl

yea I could have mocked it up first.lol
            lesson learned

Heres why i couldnt let it keep rubbing. The manifold has this from contact. Its from the first strut bar that was on the car

I just installed my IE strut bar on stock mounts and it rubs to. I was thinking about just putting a peice of a spring pad between the bar and mani STRUT BARS ARE BADASS
