Front suspension Refresh - What bushings to use?

Okay so I hit a patch of ice and slammed into a curb a few days ago. My control arm is toast... and maybe my spindle too. Dont know yet.

I am going to refresh my entire front suspension... so I am wondering a few things.

What control arm bushings should I go with? I only drive my car on the street, not THAT hard, but sometimes I corner fast. E30 M3 OEM seems like they are for me...

Also I hear that you should replace control arms... but why? Obviously my one needs replaced, but the other is fine. I was going to buy used one and have bushings pressed in off the car.

    Does the subframe have bushings?

I think my shock mounts are okay, the one might be toast. BUT I am going low in the next year so I will re use them

Any other things I should do?

new arm comes with ball joint pressed already so you don't have to. unless you have press its cheaper to just get the arm with ball joint. local shop want $60 for both side pressed.
Bought parts from me before? leave your feedback here

Oh cool! lol from Blunt I had the 4 ball joints separate in the shopping cart. $110 for all 4... $200 for new control arms

Do I need new lollipops? Im guessing my one side is toast too... but new ones are $60 for both. These bolts appear like they will work...

Much cheaper than $5 each and SAE grade 8

Didn't you blow your engine up too? Man, you are driving your e30 like you are some sort of 17 year old.

^ No I didnt do that. Its just making some weird noise. I am taking care of that at this time too.

Im doing lots of maintenance from here on out. What GG said in another thread really hit home with me - I want to have cool cars like everybody here - but everybody here addressed maintenance LONG before anything cool

I will probably just go with Blunt's kit. But I will buy the rear stuff later.

How did you hit a curb? Were you doing donuts in some local shopping plaza?

No... I came through a roundabout a little too fast and hit a patch of ice... understeered and wala bounced off a curb

So are the delrin/poly CABs worth it? They are like twice as much, but I am wondering if they are worth the price!

Toes, I took my lollipops/M3 LCABS to Les Schwab who pressed them for free. Just a thought. Some folks dont have any trouble with the putting the LCABs in with a vice, but this was much easier (unless you have access to a press). Also rent the tool from another forum member, Monty23psk ... [fixed] for removing and replacing the Lollipops on the control arms.

My one lollypop is likely fubarred... but I am checking all that tomorrow (weather permitting)

But I might just buy new ones all together??? I need atleast one I believe

I would bet your lollipops are fine, they hard as hell, you would have to hit one hell of a curb to wreck one of those.
