Running my BC with the shorter springs now for about 6 months. I LOVE them. Love going low with out losing strut travel

just got off the phone with bc and placed an order on some coilovers with their extreme drop kit, since people were having trouble getting low thought i would try it out...

there's no extreme drop for e30 only e36 and other cars. for e30 you have to tell them the spring length you want.

there is now, its still fairly new its going to be shorter springs and shorter shocks to match it. i talked to kerry about getting just the shorter springs and he mentioned the extreme drop so i went with it.
ended up being $1050 shipped not too shabby.

I guess, because mine is short on springs and struts. I paid 950 free ship with 2 free extend adjuster.

just ordered 120mm/8kg rear spring. guy on stanceworks said he loves it and recommended it. i asked for the 100mm but the guy said once its in that it actually won't be lower due to the compression. i'm going to be livid if i can't drop my car another inch or so. this stink bug look is killing me. i don't recommend BC, ground control or kw.

you don't recommend the company based on spring length?

Just received my set today and i am super fucking excited, these things are way better than i thought and i havent even installed them! build is so beefy especially the bottom part that gets welded. will post back in a week or so once i get these bad boys on.
i went with the 10k/12k combo with 160mm front spring and 120mm rear(so much for the extreme drop).

                            They are cheaper because...

                            1 - Less Quality Control
                            2 - Generic Parts
                            3 - Lower Quality Materials
                            4 - Cheaper Manufacturing

                            List continues.

Care to enlighten us how they are overpriced? Ever priced out a set of basic Koni adjustables? Now add in a quality camber/caster plate. Plus springs(springs that actually measure out to what they are advertised at). Wonder what pricing you would come up with?

FYI: The "dual" adjustability was never intended to be what it is considered today. The bodies were threaded so they can apply any bottom mount to THE SAME DAMPER, regardless of the chassis.

If the damper is correctly designed for the platform there's no need for dual adjustability.
Do they? They make their own dampers? So you are saying they make their damper and then rebadge it and let other companies sell it for cheaper? This stuff is ALL K-Sport level quality. Simply go on eBay and search for E30 Coilover. The main factory has the tooling to make an E30 kit. Just have them change the color! Here is a short list which is obviously the SAME COILOVER KIT... including the 'awesome way' of adjusting ride height.

Maybe you want the ones that just straight up say K-Sport but clearly have the same components? Some quality brands like NEX and XYZ!

Come on now guys. I am someone that wanted to test the JOM coilovers and I did. I am not going to sit here and pretend they were better than a GC or TCKline based Koni kit. These kits are generic parts that they change the tops and bottoms to bolt into your car. You can install them and turn the dial and realize nothing is happening. Mostly will get a change at the lowest, middle and highest settings. 40-way adjustable for 850 dollars? Come on now...

                            Same part?

                            versus

                            Or...

                            Custom made BC? Or...

                            versus

Someone want to send me a set of shocks? I bet I could get MCS to dyno a set...

                              the dial does work
max hard=very harsh on road like super stiff
                              medium=perfect for dd siff
                              soft max=boat ride.

don't knock on them till you try them which i've try gc with other cars.

Right. It has 40-way adjustment and you can tell the difference on full, medium and low. Surprising. No comment on the products obviously being available at a cheaper price for the same thing? Why not get the one that was 850 instead of spending 1K? It's clearly the same product. I don't need to try them. I have ridden in cars... if you are going from stock suspension to this you will be amazed... if you are going from something decent to this. Your results and review would be different...

                                *edit*

                                Sorry 32 way adjustment...
