    Control Arm Bushings Question

Since mine are completely cracked, would it be beneficial to replace them with the m3 style bushings or just use the default bushings? Pros, cons, etc... Note I have an 88 325i vert.

    Thanks!

Judging by your sig your car is pretty stock. You'd be fine with stock replacements and they're super cheap. Another option is using E36 non-offset bushings, they are a little more solid. It wouldn't hurt anything to install the E30 M3 bushings though, they're only about $40-$45 for a pair. You'll want to get an alignment if going with offset.

The offset bushings will increase caster, which will make the car more directionally stable at speed. As stated above, front toe will need to be reset after installing the offset bushings.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

So the e36 non-offset bushings would be the best I assume, but for the price get the stock bushings?

Only you can make the decision. None of them are all that expensive.

My rule of thumb for e30:

Use M3 parts every chance you get.

The offset bushings are worth the tiny bit of extra effort and money.
