One wrench on inner tie rod square section and one on the tie rod ends. They may have seized up in there so go hard on them lol

In most cases, if there is wear in the outer tie rod ball joint, there is also wear in the inner ball joint, meaning that replacement of the entire tire rod (and bellows) is indicated. The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I grabbed mine with two vice grips and wiggled them back and forth until they broke loose. Took probably 15 minutes of muscle. Then I would back out the tie rod end say a 1/4 turn, and then the opposite way 1/8 turn, forward 1/4 turn, back 1/8 turn. After doing this for another 15 minutes my tie rods are mint and can be adjusted (or removed) easilyComment
