    K-mac Camber Plates

    Hi All.
Looking at some camber plates for my E30. I live in Australia where there is a company called K-mac suspension that provide an adjustable camber kit for the car. Just wondering if anyone has got a set and what their thoughts on them are.
    Cheers

I have been around a couple of places but everything seems fairly similar in Australia. Around about $300 plus fitting. The problem is that I have substantial negative camber on the rear tyres due to the previous owner lower it. What are my solutions to getting rid of this??
      Thanks for your help.

negative camber on the rear cannot be corrected by plates, you have to use eccentric trailing arm bushings. I think the Kmac plates are pretty good, unlike many other solid steel mounts they use urethane so they won't be as harsh. But maybe someone else can chime in and give their opinions.

I have been able to source some adjustable offset bushes for the rear from K-mac however what I was wondering was whether this was the best way to go??
          Thanks

The rear adjustable KMacs have a bit of a reputation for not holding their positions over time. I know several people with track cars where the KMacs have moved or failed over time.

I can recommend a set that Bimmerworld sells. Have been on my E30 track car for 3 years now with no issues. They are running $229 USD for the steel core model. (I think they maybe mfg by Powerflex, but not sure.)
