differece between 318i springs and 325i?

I have an early 318i with drum brakes in the rear and i plan on swapping all four brakes with the 325i brakes. vented rotors i the front and disc brakes in the back. I know that im going to need to get the trailing arms off of a 325i to make it work. Id also like to get some lowering sprngs from bavauto to give it better handling, i just dont know if i should order springs for325i or 318i. is there any differences in them?

325i springs made to handle a m20, 318i springs made to handle a m10. I think the spring rates are a bit different.

They will be different but of course 325 springs will work. If you run 325 springs you'll likely end up with less of a drop and a firmer ride than the same spring would give you if it were spec'd for a 318.

Why are you choosing bav auto springs?

don't forget you'll also need new e-brake cables for the rear discs when you do the conversion.
