    325iX Coilovers?

hey guys I don't know much about the suspension and I wanted to lower my iX a bit and saw these springs on the ground control website.

My question is, are these springs the only thing i'm going to need? or what else? thanks

As with everything else, it depends.

What shocks do you have? Do you plan to lower the car significantly?

it has koni's. i've read a lot that it can't be lowered much without ruining something, but i do want to go lower than h&r's.

Here's a pic of one I did recently on Konis...

You can go lower, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a collection of front halfshafts.

            Spare Konis.

Ideally, you should get a shorter Koni out of the race parts bin and shorten the strut housing a bit for extra travel. Also, you should call Mark and get him to give you his advice on spring rates and lengths for the iX because they are not the same as for the regular cars.
