Took my car out on some twisties this past weekend after my car being out of commission for about the past year. I noticed that when im turning the wheel, its almost if the car takes a second to "Catch up" to the direction that I am pointing it. There is a slight amount of play in the wheel that I can move it before the car begins to turn. I'm not sure if it is a combo of body roll, chassis flex, or what.
Car is on brand new H&R sports, Billy Sports, Complete front end suspension refresh (new control arms, m3 CABS, bushings, tie rod ends, endlinks, etc.) and good condition Falken Ziex tires.
The rear suspension hasn't been gone through yet.
Steering rack is the stock leaky e30 rack, though It's been flushed and refilled along with a new resi.
I plan going with an e36m rack or z3 rack once I have time/funds. Possible this will solve the problem?
