How many miles on your shocks??

I looked but couldnt find much. the little i found was greatly varied. This would be helpful for guys buyin used parts. AKA me:D

What brand and how many miles/years? Input on your style of driving and road conditions would be helpful.

On average roads the OE (or equal) shocks are good for about 60-70K. Rougher roads a bit less and smoother roads a bit more. Bilsteins might last a bit longer, but not much longer. Since the rebound damping of Koni SA's can be increased to compensate for wear they can last a good bit longer if not dialed up higher than the springs require when new. For stock springs a good initial setting is going to be 1/2-1 turn from full soft. Sport springs might like 1-1-1/2 turns from full soft.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

My dad has 245k miles on his billie sports. Same set since 88 and they feel great.

I've got over 300k on my Bilstein sports (approximately 10 years old), and the car has been through everything: huge potholes, autox, bottoming out, speed bumps, cobblestone, etc... if it's on a public road, these shocks went over it. They still feel great in the car, and last time I had them out of the car they looked/felt like new, they certainly weren't blown or leaking or anything.

However, I'm sure if you put them on a shock dyno, the compression and rebound curves would be a bit off from seal wear.
