Can I remove front spring pads?

Can I remove/rip out the front spring pads without pulling anything apart?

you could cut them out if there is enough slack in your springs. obviously you'd have to jack up the car..

douse them with lighter fluid, and set them on fire while mounted to the car.

Sure fire way to get them out! ;)

In all seriousness, yes. The paint on your springs will scratch off a little bit though.

I don't have any pads up front.

Eh, jacked it up and there's just not enough slack to rip em out.

          Oh well

Use a spring compressor. Should be easier than removing the strut.

I did pull out all of my rear spring pads today, dropped it down about 3/4 inch. Much better.
