Help on choosing the right Camber Plate please.

Yeah it don't make sense to pay $200-300 when can go with a camber plate for about the same price and more adjustability, but you might find a "crash" mount in decent condition at a junkyard for much less, anyone know what cars came with this from factory?

I was under the impression you were referring to standard aftermarket fixed camber plates, was not aware that anyone would even begin to consider the factory plates (31 33 1 139 484) as an option.

Why?
- Because NO factory car were equipped with them from the factory as standard equipment (they could be on anything from a '84 318 to an '88 M6.) So it's going to be a needle-in-the-haystack in the junk yard.

- Because who in their right mind would put USED rubber strut mounts on a car in the first place? Especially when it's coming from a junkyard.

- Because they are pretty cost prohibitive at BMW current list price $155 EACH (maybe 120 EACH with a BMWCCA membership that Mr325 mentioned), so that $310list for a pair!

I have owned 25-30 E30s and not one of them has had these mounts.

OP, what did you end up doing? I'm in a similar position. (88 325is, will be swapping in a S50 and getrag 260 after I sort out the suspension)

I just bought Billy Sports and H&R Race springs, but I don't know what camber plates to get. IE makes the Street Adjustable plates for $150, and GC's Touring are more adjustable but are $350. I don't mind spending money on quality, but this will be a fun dd, so I don't want to over do it...

Ive got a set of GC Touring plates ... Brand new that I bought a year and a half ago. Never installed and decided to go coils now
