    Is my rear suspension dying?

My E24 just seems to keep falling on its face, even from something as simple as a 3000 rpm drop. I can feel my rear end vibrate up and down and then I finally get traction and the car just flops. However, when I push on the rear suspension, which the PO told me was fairly new, I get plenty of resistance. When the E30's original suspension was dead I could push the rear end of my car up and down with no problem.

Anything else I should look at here? I even had a spare tire in the trunk but I couldn't seem to get the rear end traction I needed.

Sounds like classic wheel hop. Do E24's have semi trailing arms like E30's?

You might want to freshen up all the bushings in the rear.

Their setup is identical to E30s as far as appearance goes. different trailing arms most like, but similar type of setup.
