can i use a copper crush washer for the power steering pump line??

I lost one of the aluminum crush washers for the power steering pump line. Can I use a copper one instead?

    Yes
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I bought a pack of them from harborfrieght for my e36 rack swap, and they worked like a charm.

I actually prefer copper since its softer than aluminum so makes a better crush washer. Funny thing is..the dealer doesnt sell them so thanks for the HF tip
