    koni shock question

so i came accross a set of koni 862277 sport shocks in my travels. they are the SA type.

apparently according to different sources they are vert/m3 shocks and some say they are coupe/sedan shocks.

does anyone know what they are? and what the difference is? they seem in good condition and would be a worth while upgrade for me.

but my car is low on GC coilovers and i dont want them bottoming out if they are going to be too tall.

are they taller then IX inserts?

    thanks for any help/ input

    leigh.

please help. i need to know what these shocks really are. or if coupe/sedan are different to vert or m3 inserts. thanks, leigh.

edit- ive also searched ETK genuine bmw parts system. and coupe, sedan, vert, and m3 all list different shocks. and different again for mtech versions. they also dont give any other info. so i dont know if the difference is just in valving.

You should be able to download Koni's application guide off of their website.

so they are M-technic sedan/ vert shocks.

thanks for the koni application hint.

they are standard length sport shocks.

they have short sport too. which has Lmax -40 ect. im guessing that means they are designed to be 40mm shorter?
