Well if you never bottom out your suspension they you could have no bump stops. They're a safety measure incase you do bottom out. Without bump stops u would get a loud bang every time you max out travel.
edit: fuck what I just said. basically I don't think it's an issue. I'm not running bumpstops. You'd have to be pretty damn aggressive to bottom out the car. (doing jumps?)

Have you removed the internal bump stop completely? The Bilstein bump stop is super long. Like, longer than the stock bump stop. Unless you have cracked open the damper and trimmed it, you are travel constrained.

oh, I'm a dumbass then. I was thinking spring bumpstops.
ok bumpin an old thread
I never opened my shocks and trimmed the bumpstops and as stated earlier im on races, the front end sometimes is kinda harsh is this me hitting the stops? i searched, so I know HOW to do it...seems to me billstein should make sport shocks that work w shorter springs

I see a single question mark, and not one that follows an answerable question. You are using far stiffer springs than stock, and the definition of "kind harsh" is hugely subjective, but certainly race springs are stiffer than stock. Now, is the harshness you feel the bump stops? We can't say for sure. You can either work some science, and mark your setup in a way that might indicate if you are ever compressing the suspension that far, or you can search more and read more to try and figure out if other people's experience and description matches yours.
My guess, running H&R Sport on the streets of Seattle, is that you aren't hitting the bump stops. You just have a stiff ride, and this in combination with your roads is harsh to you.
