e30 front strut questions. what do i have?

i was doing the brakes on my car today and i was looking at my suspension. i know i have h&r race springs in the front but i noticed the blue plastic part bilstein sport have? i couldnt move it to see the yellow part of bilstein. check pic to see what blue part i am talking about. That blue part to the bottom right of the pic.

Do i have bilstein sports up front? please help.

If you have those blue boots you most likely have Bilstein struts. They could be either HD or Sport. Even if you pulled the boot off you wouldn't see the yellow part of the strut insert. It's inside the strut housing.

You'll want sports for the rear.

Sports are definitely ideal but the HD definitely do the job for a mild drop like H&R Sports etc.

I'd suggest matching what you have in front.

A stiff shock in the rear (heh) when you have a soft up front can
lead to transition/rough surface oversteer in situations where you don't have
              time to fix it...

...says the man who tried running Konis in front with Bils in back...
