    bmp urethane tie rod boots

    do these just suck balls or what? I put some on but when i bolted them down the bottom parts just slipped down over the lip the boots are supposed to be on.


    if anyone has any low milage outer tie rods let me know

    also anyone know what kind of grease to use for the pinion for the steering rack

      Im not really religious

      and the ultima isnt mine

      and the tie rods dont need replacing the boots had a couple little tears

      and there is some sort of grease on the z3 rack and pinion now and i dont think anyone has ever been in there. I'll just try to reapply whats there i guess.

      and if you know of any places where i could get one of those 318 steering linkages let me know. i still cant find one.

      also i didnt know the tie rods were so cheap.

        My BMP boots are just fine. They don't sit on the lip but they seal up fine.

            One year running BMP's on a daily driver. Used moly grease. No leakage. When you tighten down the bolt, make sure the boot bottoms slip over the outside of the bearing cup, and they seem to seal just great.
