Definitely. Most people with M42 cars will cut a coil off of the H&R Race and IE3 springs to get rid of the reverse rake though.

Half coil cut off the bottom of my IE3 springs, rides and handles absolutely perfectly.

im just not one for it. id rather leave them alone. or buy adjustables.

and half a coil may not change much. seeming they are already lowered coils too. so the coils tend to be closer together unloaded.

but when you get morons cutting 3 or 4 coils out of there factory coils and then drilling holes in the lower spring perch to put tie wire through to hold them in (if they even think that far) makes me furious. you might as well just not have springs in.

thats where i get really pissed off about cutting coils.

Well, that's a totally different story!

I've also modified the bump stops in my front struts to give a bit more travel.

my bump stops are... well they arent there at all in the front. i didnt see the point in using ruined bump stops on shocks that were going to be replaced with new ones shortly so when the shocks are done ill get bumpstops to match
