Coilover help

So I am looking to pick up a full set of coils next week and I was planning on going with the bc coils, but what I was wondering is I have heard both that they are good to go in no modification to the strut housing or coils themselves, and i have heard they require welding. Either way what does the install all take...and what other options do i have, a lot of people have recomended ge coils with nigels setup, I had also seen a megan racing setup group buy, how was that.

Would like to stay under 1k all in with install, i can put them in myself if theres no mod required.

BC, Megan and K Sport are all weld on kits. You need to cut the base of the strut tube, slide the new coilover shock body over the stock cut strut tube and weld it in place.

It's by no means a "bolt on and go" type coilover system. The rear of any of those kits however are all very easy to install with no welding or fabrication needed.

I would recommend Nigels kit because he will back his product and his kits are very nice. They also require very little fabrication to install. Not to mention, the price is much better.

Ok upon more research, I have actually decided to go with the Megan Coilovers, anybody recommend someone to do the fab needed?

I was going to go with Nigels coils but it sounds like they are back-ordered and I am looking to get this done asap, as my current struts are leaking pretty badly.

You could go to Castros or JMP Auto. Both of them can get it done for you.

Word, Ill hit up the castros boys

hit up JER... they can do it for 150 if you take all the parts out or 250 if you want them to take out cut weld and install again
