    Eibach concensus

Is it the general concensus that eibachs pros are too soft and when I get new springs I should go ahead and get the H&R sports?

I am very pleased with my H&R sports, lower ride height, not harsh.

I use them in my daily driver

I have H&R Sports and I love them. This is my daily driver too.

Compare the two springs by looking at the spring rates...
Eibach is barely stiffer than stock springs. E30 m3 springs are even stiffer than the Eibach...

I have the Eibach Pro's on Koni S/A's and I love the set-up. 60/40 drop

That is the thread directly below yours and it covers the same topic.

Eibach Pro Kit springs shouldn't have nearly a 60/40 drop from the factory, they just sag that badly...

I have IE stage III's, which are made by Eibach. I'm pretty sure they're meant to be similar to Eibach race springs. Of all of the suspension kits in E30's I've ridden on, I am the most pleased with them by far. I've yet to ride in a car with GC's, but I LOVE my IE's. Almost zero body roll, great ride, and great performance overall.

He is talking about the Eibach Pro Kit compared to H&R Sport so that is pretty irrelevant.

Not rly. Their rear spring is the biggest piece of shit out there. They coil-bind like crazy and the progressive rate ramps up way to sharply because of it.

I've had the kit on my car for about 6 months, and I'm very happy with it. I don't find the rear spring to be the biggest peice of shit out there by far, I can name off several spring kits right now that are a lot worse. Everyone has their own opinion though, so you're certainly entitled to yours.

so in my case I am never going to track my car with the setup I will purchase, just some spirited driving in the twisties of the mountains. H&R's and bilsteins would be the recommended setup then?
