Hey guys, sorry if this question has been answered, kind of in a rush with time/weather/school/work. so i have a 85 325E* and its lowered (kept the stock springs) and not ideal for the snowy winters here, so i went and bought a 91 325IX* and i just found out the front passenger spring is snapped, among other things, but my thought process tells me to check to see if the stock springs from the E will fit on the IX which is also stock height. just eye balling it they look the same but it'd be my luck that i'd get close to finishing and they wouldn't work. if anybody knows the answer or where to find the answer please let me know. thank you for your time

You can use I'd springs on a e so I see no reason why they wouldn't fit an ix as long as you swapped them as a pair and know they may drop it slightlyShawn @ Bimmerbuddies

IX suspensions are so different, the OP is wise to be cautious. Unless you've done it yourself I wouldn't assume its a straight swap.Seat Shocks....I have passed the baton to John Christy from Ninestitch. Email John or Garrett at ninestitch1@gmail.com
