Bilstein Touring inserts shocks and IE3's

i am wondering if anyone has heard about Bilstein touring shocks and if they would work with IE3's...i have a line on both used and am on a strict budget. Also would this setup work for a daily driver/winter car..

I am scared they will be too stiff for the ski hill roads with washboard and stuff. the car is a 325e early model, 4 dr.

you need to use billy sports w the stage 3s

Bilstein Tourings are to be used with stock springs. They WILL blow if used with IE3.

I also have a line on some ST suspension, lowering Shocks? how are they? Ive heard that billie sports make for a horrible ride with IE3's...Will the ST shocks soften it out a bit, without blowing?

I picked up a pair of Touring inserts at "will call" at Bilstein here in NC and had a good dialogue with their technical rep. The Tourings are valved about 10% firmer than stock fyi.

your probably getting worse ride on the ie3s with the touring shocks because the shocks aren't matched to the spring rates at all

He likes to ride on them. His butt is a little soft, hence the dislike for IE3's and Bilstein Sports.

Anyone had the ST shocks? and i also have a line on Koni adj. shocks with 90,xxx kms. Is that too high?
