IE3 Race Springs with Bilstein HD and Sport Trial n Error- Read inside

Ok soooo here is how it goes.
Keep note I have 16x8 all around sitting on 205/45/16

    I HAD

    FRONT -
Ireland Racing Stage 3 Springs IE3
    with Bilstein Heavy Duty Shocks

    REAR -
    Eibach Race Springs
    Bilstein Sport Shocks.

I loved the way the car rode. It was perfect for everyday usage.
Stiff when needed, yet light on the bumps and dips and etc.

MY ISSUE was the front "looked" higher. Although it was the same leveled drop all the way around it "looked" wrong to me.

    SO TODAY I -

    FRONT -
Ireland Racing Stage 3 Springs CUT 1 and a Half Coils.
    Bilstein Sport Shocks.

    REAR -
Ireland Racing Stage 3 Rear Springs IE3
    Bilstein Sport Shocks.

I F**CKING LOVE THE WAY IT LOOKS IT SITS PERFECT.
It has the "raked" look everyone desires.

but I HATE THE WAY IT RIDES. SOOO STIFF UP FRONT AND BOUNCY.
I have had tons of lowered cars, this is by far the stiffest n worse ride yet.
Maybe because of the Sports and or Springs being cut. Not sure too many variables to list but what I do know is its not a daily driver anymore.
Even if your 16 again its really not a daily anymore. The fun if the e30 is out the window.

    Conclusion.

Im going to throw my Heavy Duty Bilsteins back in up FRONT
Put my UNCUT IE3 Spring Back In.(i had bought a used pair to cut)
+ Im going to ADD an e90 drop hat to lower about 15mm
And Call it a DAY. The bounce and stiffness and FEAR of crackin my oil pan really isnt worth the"look".I wont have the same desired loook that i was going for, i mean it looks realllly good right now. But I cant do it. Maybe you can.

I have a ton of pix before and after. Ill upload em soon or email me direct

OPEN TO ANY AND ALL SUGGESTIONS =)

From what I was told the HD's are longer then stock or Sports. Maybe the struts are bottoming out too??

The SPORTS are Longer by about 3/4 of inch or less !!
I had them side by side today.
Im far from bottoming out it doesnt make a noise or clunk or hit.
Its just the spring rate that I threw off by cutting the spring is my best reason.
is just realllly tough and bouncing back with vengance !!

All you needed to do was remove the front pads and if that's not enough, use E90 drophats, then double up pads in the rear. This will lower the front and raise the rear slightly to make the car look more even. No cutting needed. Most people cut 1/2 or 1 full coil from the top. These coils are designed to bind right away making them inactive. So theoretically you shouldn't have a problem cutting them. Are you sure you cut from the top?
