    Best Suspension setup?

I was wondering what the best suspension setup would be for a low but good ride for a daily driver. Money kind of is a factor right now. I would say close to $500 is my limit right now.
Any info would be very helpful.
    Thanks

'Low' and 'good ride' are very subjective terms.

You'll need to be a bit more specific, at least as to how low you want it. Maybe post a pic of an e30 you find that sits how you'd like yours to, and we may be able to tell you what springs will do the job.

You don't have many options for $500, that will get you a set of lowering springs and maybe a set of cheap shocks, but definitely not ideal. The typical H&R/Bilstein combo is ~800. You may want to save up until you can get decent shocks, or find a used setup in the classifieds.

$1,000 is a better budget to shoot for. technically you could grab a set of JOM's (they are in your price range) but you always get what you pay for. personally the JOMs are fine for DD use.

search for the JOM group buy threads

also: (The suspension setup/ride height thread) search that. It has many styles and info on what was used. It should get you started on what you may like. more research is good research

I have around 3k in my suspension setup. You get what you pay for.

          500.00=

A TON cheaper and they hold up great for the price. I am offering up options based on daily/sprinted use. These with H&R race springs etc with e90 top hats would be perfect.

These are also much shorter(designed for a MR2), you will need to make a spacer. But these are very good and ALOT cheaper than Bilstein sports and iX HD inserts.

Read this thread to learn everything you need to know. For under 200.00 you can have great fronts that will handle lots of abuse at a fraction of the price.

Then pick up some H&R springs or the like from the For sale section on this site.

Now stop making so many threads about the same thing. Read and search, you are on the internet for goodness sake.

I DD my car with M3 springs ($150 on E30Tech) and Koni SA's all around, though I can't remember how much the Konis cost me (I got them NOS). I think it does a great job of keeping comfort and allowing for fun when you're in the mood ;)

Here's a picture of how it sits. Not low by most people's standards, but it also allows it to be a regular use car.
