Quick question. Bent strut housing. Interchangeable?

Drivers side strut housing is bent from previous owner accident and camber is -3degrees.
    Found a guy selling his off a 1986 325es.
This will work right? Just want to make sure before I spend money.

Your 88 will have 51mm housings and ABS. Those are the only 2 things that matter and they should be the same on the 86. Easy to check

I think the 86 strut housing will be the 51mm part like you have, but it may not have the wheel speed sensor mount. If it does, it will work.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

All 325eS cars had ABS. Yes it will fit.

I have an 86 325es that never had ABS. The parts aren't there, which is no surprise since the build sheet says it never had it.

I ended up pulling a housing from the junk yard off a 318.
Now I'm having trouble removing ball joint from the spindle.
I have a big a** hammer, but I'd rather rent a tool from pepboys.
What tool would be best? 2 Jaw puller? Ball joint press?
