Gauging interest for mega-sized swaybars for E30...

Just curious, any idea on the pricing of these?

Somewhat interested in a front bar, could be very useful for those that autoX within SCCA's 'stock' ruleset where a single sway bar can be changed, but springs must remain stock.

Sup! My car runs what's probably a more common setup, the real SpecE30 H&R Race springs, Koni adjustables, and also Toyo R888 225s front, 245s rear (well, most of the year... running Kumhos for the winter weather).

I like a street car set up as though it's an auto-x setup. That's a heck of a lot more entertaining than the typical understeer setup of the OE bars, and a bit easier to rotate than a pure track setup... but hey, that's what adjustability of dampers, alignment, rear sway bar hole position, and even swaybar size, have to do with tuning the car to what you wish it to do.

And remember, we offer the bars individually. We expect that a lot of people might want to use the 27mm front and 19mm rear, or no rear at all. For some drift applications, the 23.8mm rear only. It's all up to how the specific car is used by the specific person.

Same pricing as our 22/19 set... $440 for the complete set or $220 per bar (all come complete with bushings, adjustable links, reinforcement brackets, and other reinforcement plates).

If you guys produce them for that price I would order a front bar, IF they will be ready to ship within the next 2 months.

Fun to drive, definitely! As for what bar sizes one would choose for an actual track setup, all the other factors in the suspension should be taken into consideration.

We are anticipating track-only cars will be leaning toward the 27mm front with our 19mm rear, and street cars will prefer both front and rear the larger sizes.

I will have to swing by when I finish my m30 swap. Im guessing sway bars in in it now wont help with body roll on jack stands haha.

I haven't seen any m30 swaps around here either. Hopefully it will be worth the trouble.

I like the bigger front, it allows you to get the pitch balance under control and still get the RS balance reasonable. don't fear the roll stiffness, just have to have good RS balance.

On top of it, I'd run the M3 front stab mount to increase the bar motion ratio.

Definitely no interference with the 24v oil pan - prototype set have been on my S52/E30 for several months.

Can't say about the raceskids x brace, I don't have one for testing. If raceskids wanted to sent me a sample, I would gladly test-fit it.
