    Camber adjustments w/ lowering springs?

I'm planning on ordering the Vogtland suspension kit fairly soon. I believe it gives around a 1.5" drop. Roughly how much negative camber should I expect?

Not nearly low enough to worry about negative camber.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm sitting here at work with nothing to work on, and bored out of my mind...

Have you heard anything about the Vogtland kit? It looks like it gives roughly the drop I'm looking for, plus I like the fact that it comes with Konis. I haven't seen a whole lot of people with it though...

I never heard of it personally, nor do I know anything more about it then you.

It will probably be early February before I start ordering suspension parts, but when I get it, maybe I'll do a little writeup on it, since it's a relatively unknown kit. I'll be the guinea pig...

if all else fails you can just sell the springs. then you will still have koni's for as cheap or cheaper then buying them alone. you are talking about the $600 on ebay right?

Actually I think it was www.pure-motorsport.com that I was looking at. I just checked it this morning and now the price is something like $690, and they didn't have it advertised as being on sale before. The only other place I've seen it is www.autoaccessorystore.com and it's still $530 there, for the time being...

Vogtland is pretty popular on E34's, they are your basic lowering spring set like Eibach Pros or H&R Sports.

damn, 530? it would make sense to just buy it and sell the springs for some cheap koni's

Yeah, for being about the same price as the H&R/Bilstein sport combo, the fact that it comes w/ adjustable Konis is pretty nice. I wonder how the spring rates would compare.

have you made sure that the kit on www.autoaccessorystore.com does in fact come with koni's and not some lesser adjustable shocks? I might get myself that

                        How much camber gain?

You will have an additional 1.3 degrees negative camber for a 1.5" drop.

i just put the vogtland springs on earlier this month and so far i love them, they ride really nice. They did lower it more than the 1.5 they claimed and they gave my car -2 degree of camber.

That's a cool article. Lots of great tech advice on that site. Looks like it will come down to Vogtland, KW, or Tunershop's suspension kit for me...I just emailed pure motorsport about Vogtland's spring rates. I'm interested in seeing how they stack up against H&R Sports.
