Hahaha, thanks man. I absolutely loving doing this stuff. If I wasn't in the Midwest but more on the coast like Cali....I would be bugging the crap out of Castro Motorsports to let me work for them hahaha.

I just put these beauties together this weekend with a little help from GC!

I've got them here for $12 each. Made specifically for GC in Europe.
Very high quality, and available as progressive so no harshness if you get into them.

I was just looking at those, with the Koni adjustables, and spring rates at 525 which one's would you recommend?

I'll make sure to get some of those on the shocks before final installation. Thanks!

For that price, I think I will pick up a set, too!

I've still got at LEAST another 1.5" I could go down front & rear in the pic of my sedan that Ross posted. That photo was also taken pretty much immediately after installation, so the springs hadn't really settled at all yet.

REALLY happy with the work Ross did - I'll be throwing more business his way soon!

Bumping this thread bc it's relevant to something I'm pondering.

I just got Koni SA shocks, but now I think I should pull the trigger on the GC adjuster kit.

After some brief research, including this thread, it seems the Koni yellow is the "standard length" strut i.e. same length as stock which is why you didn't need to shorten the strut housing.

Does this have any major drawback? kingston - are you bottoming out?

I'm wondering if I should be looking at swapping my Konis with some from GC or if I'll be okay. Street use car mainly, not looking to be excessively slammed just set it where I want it on 17" wheels.

I'll let Kingston reply as well but I would say get some good bump stops and run what you got. you are correct though, they are stock length. if you want the shortened ones I believe it's the IX shocks you need the e30 strut tubes. I went 5-lug which are already shorter then e30 struts.

This is the same car after settling a bit. if you look at his post above you can see he still has room to play. I can;t answer the bottoming out question though.

His car looks pretty damn low, and I am not one to uber-stance out my cars. I just feel that with Kopi 17" wheels I could use a bit more of a drop than the ST springs I have now to make it look right. I'm also looking at getting away without the camber plates, for now anyway. I suppose the plates give a bit of extra travel in case I grow frustrated.

I don't think you have to use camber plates. GC kits come with spring hats to where you could probably put the stock e30 hat on top of that. Especially if you're not going stupid low, it would probably be ok.
