Eibach M3 springs on 325i

There is a local guy that I am looking to pick up some springs from tomorrow and from the searching I have found they are e30 M3 eibach springs. They are supposed to lower the M3 about 1". I would prefer the stance of the pro kit for my car (91' 325i) which would be 1.6" front 1.4" rear.

I have searched and I can't find any info on these spring on a 325i. The part number on the springs are

Front: 2017.001US

Rear: 2017.002US

There is another number on the rear springs: 15.08.89

Any and all info would be great.

I am curious the drop I will get if I put them on my 91 325i?

The m3 is already lower than the 325 from the factory, so if they are M3 spec springs that lower it 1" from stock M3 height, then it should lower the 325 around 1.5-2".

Thanks for the response, I figured that was probably the case wich is what I am going for.

Many people have done this. In fact, everybody running Ireland Engineering stage 3 springs or H&R Race springs are running springs specifically designed for the M3. In addition to what Todd said, since the 325i is a little heavier up front, it will be a little lower with the M3 springs.

Thank you! It is not a track car it solely a DD so my main concern was the drop I would get. Sounds like it will be about a 2" drop
