    Suppose your a cheap ass..

Well im not cheap, i just dont have a huge cash flow at the moment with school. Would it be worth my while to buy some H&R springs and use them with the stock struts till summer, or just wait to get the extra money for shocks, and do them at the same time?
Would i notice much of a difference between m3 springs with stock struts and H&R springs with stock struts?

If you lower the car with the stock shocks the shocks will blow out in no time. Just wait and do it right.

I'd leave it stock and go to a track event instead.

Like Adam said, you're asking for trouble.

I've seen some frightening handling results from people trying that, let alone the fact the struts will blow immediately.

Unless you're installing the springs and dampers yourself, you
would get cracked for labor twice, I know you want to lower your car sooner than later but just save up and do it the right way.

M3 springs aren't worth the money, and I'd be surprised if you lasted 2 weeks with stock shocks and H&R Sports. Save up your money and do it all at once in the summer, you will be glad that you did.
