Hey Kids. I took the springs off my genuine M Tech II cabrio and was wondering if those springs are any different than regular cabrio springs and if they are worth any money. Somebody that knows a thing or two about these please chime in. I was thinking about putting them up for sale.

They should be different but don't know if it's been confirmed. Take a pic. The should be the 'M Technic suspension' springs mentioned in the Bentley."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj

Barry, I tried looking for some numbers or anything on them but the years have masked anything identifying information. I can snap a shot or two of them. I once heard that the M Tech II springs are the same as the E30 M3 springs but I can't corroborate that in any shape or form.-----------------------------------
