What is this hose?

**I posted this in the Steering section, but didn't get a response.**

What is this hose on the steering rack? Mine was leaking, so I ordered a new one, but I have no idea what it is, except that it carries power steering fluid.

Its a rubber hose and ends. It allows pressure to transfer from each end of the rack.

Do the ends simply press fit into back the rack? I was leaking fluid and I noticed one end had popped off.

You can zip tie it for extra insurance.
