Is this really the stock height?

I bought a set of OEM springs and put them in but the front seems to ride much higher than the back... Is this normal?

You have a late model which mean the rear arches are lower....then an early model anyways. It looks to be sitting fairly level though.

stock wheels with the stock tires would eliminate some fender gap. that 4x4 looks stock to me ;)

tire size also play a role in the fender gap

Did you put 6cyl(325i/iS) stock springs on a 4cyl(318i) car? That's my guess.

                    EDIT: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sear...rchid=15664092

From the looks of your thread, yes, this is a 318i, so, my deduction is that you put stock 325i/iS springs on.

I've never heard anyone wanting to replace their springs with oem. Why do you prefer a high ride?

I dont like the way the lowering springs ride. It's too harsh.
Also, I dont like the fact that they eat up tires due to the fact that they mess with alignment and especially the fact that the rears are not adjustable.

plus, i dont think you understand the road situation here in the deep south.. you think you know potholes? pshh... you dont know $hit.

Have you tried H&R OE sports? They are a slight bit lower and ride like stock. Stock E30M3 springs are also a good compromise too. Bit lower, bit more aggressive but still very forgiving.
