    Steering pull problem. Help please

Hey guys, Im new to the forum and I just bought my first e30, a 1990 325is. There's a few small problems on it that im trying to fix and I need some help and advice. First would be the steering pull. The car is on aftermarket bilstein shocks and springs and just got aligned. However, when I turn the wheel about a full turn or more, the car will pull in that direction after straightening out. However, if i turn the wheel an equal distance in the opposite direction the car will then run true again. any ideas on what is wrong and how to fix it? thanks!

There is something binding up your upper strut mount bearing. You may have a bad bearing or it may be something simple like an incorrect or absent washer.

Thanks man. Someone previously told me it might be bad power steering fluid? do you think that could play into it?

I would agree with acolella76 above. I am running H&R lowering springs and have had this same issue from day one. I hate to say that I've learned to live with it, but I have :( What did the shop say about your Caster? I know mine has been off or even crossed so that might have something to do with your steering issues. What kind of upper strut mounts are you using? Are they the adjustable kind to correct for camber?

PS: I don't think it's power steering fluid.

I dont think they are. Im pretty sure they just stuck the shocks and springs in. Sort of sketchy to buy an already lowered car thats not on coil overs.

My h&r race only did this when the springs would bind from bad strut mounts. With properly greased, servicable strut mounts, this is definitely not normal.

Same thing happened to me after u turn or sharp turns.
It was a missing washer under the strut mount.
