Eibachs Pro-Kit Now to Low, with pics,

I bought a pro kit used off the forum, looked good, there springs, what could be wrong? So, yesterday I installed them, but I noticed that the springs had been touching and the powdercoating was gone.

to me personally the car is too low, my last IS had Racing Dynamics springs, now it was low, but not sure if it was this low, but I gave my dad that car 13yrs ago, so here's a couple of pics, The P/N is 2003.001,

I think the springs are collapsed or worn out, I did have a set of Moroso drag springs collapse on me before,

i have heard that the eibach are very spongy, and have a terrible ride. never been in a car with them, but just my formed opinion on them based on my previous research.

It look about right, I had a set before on my eta and it was too soft for its low ride height, which is likely to smash the oil pan on bumpy road.

Eibach makes a TONS of springs, but the "pro kit" was always the soft one. Are your shocks good, if they are worn out that would also cause your car to bottom out and spring coils would touch more as well.

fronts have less than 5K, rear 10, both worked well by hand,

The Eibach Prokit is said to be softer than stock actually! I am definitely not a fan.

Swap them out for H&R Sport springs if you don't want it too low. You'll love them.

i have run an eibach prokit with bilstein HD for the past 8 years. it is not much stiffer than stock but the data i got from the local guy says they are stiffer. the ride is ok if the shocks are good and for the first few years i was very happy with it. the P/N sold here down under for the prokit is different to what is sold in the USA.

I had a set with brand new JOM shocks/struts and my coils looked like yours when compressed; thought something was wrong but that's just how they are :/
