OK well if the cabby will always be a non-winter car and you're not scared of crappy NE roads even in the warm, dry weather than go for IE Stage 3 or H&R Sport or Race. That'll be cheaper than GC, which you don't seem to need.
That would be the cheaper way ;) But, I'm gonna have a hard time fighting the urge to go w/ GC's so I can go from a mild to willd drop. If anything else I may choose IE's stage III's w/ koni's
If your wondering how well GC works on a 318ic, check with aaron_silva, he's running GC on his '91 318ic. I'm running E30 M3 stock springs on my cabrio.
I wonder how IE's stage III's would be?? Everyone in hardtops seem to like the spring rate's.
I have them on my non-cab and my only hesitation would be the being really low in the back. The back of the cabs are heavier and the Stage IIIs already sit really low in the back.
I went with Bilstein Sports and H & R Sports (vert specific spring rate)
I like the drop in the front , but the rear is just a bit too high for me and gives it a bit too much rake. I dont run a spare tire so that may account for a bit of it.
The ride quality is quite a bit stiffer then stock (of course) and definately streetable. Its a great combo as many have already attested to.
I am considering going with the adjustablity of the Ground Control and Koni's . It would be nice to dial in the ride height and not be limited to a static height and dampning rate.

Good choice if you go that route.
My current stance
Hey what size are them Cr7's?? I always loved them wheels but they look kinda huge on your vert.
16 's . Thats just the angle of the picture that accentuates the rim size.
The picture is being taken at an up angle and thats what optically enlarges the look. : )
CR'7s rock!
Well I have seen other angled shot of your car before and they still look big, But I'm thinking it may be due to the metal bumpers, short valance, etc. Dont get me wrong I still love your car ;) What color isd that Cirrus?
I can totally notice a difference in size from the 16's to the 17's.
Mine are the 16 x 7.5 , but may be the 16 x 9's- Cant recall.
Bilstein Sports / H & R Sports - retained the spring hats in the rear and there is no spare in the trunk. I could remove the spring hats and throw in a spare and that might drop the rear a tad, but serioulsy looking into Ground Control / Koni as my next step up. If you go this route then we should see about getting another group buy going on this combo so we can save some $. ??
If you put M3 springs on a cabrio make sure you go with stiff shocks like Bilstein HD's or Sports, because if you don't you are going to have a pretty bouncy ride. I don't think M3 springs are stiff enough for cabs.
