sport spring with the least drop?

I'm looking to get a slightly stiffer spring without necesarily lowering it, and certainly not raising it. It's for a M42 318i sedan.

Any suggestions? Of the aftermarket choices which lowers the least? Does the H&R OE Sport have the same rate as stock springs?

Does the lowering of the H&R Sport spring make the suspension less compliant? Is the increase in spring rate noticeably beneficial?

    TIA

      H&R OE sport

the are not the same rate as stock. they are something like 40% stiffer.

but on an M42 car, I'd just go with H&R Sports. yours is light enough that it probably won't drop it as much and the drop isn't that extreme anyway.
