      If I'm being honest:

When I first looked into camber plates, I was looking for something with less stack height than a strut mount, that I could add extra camber with for autox.

I bought the cheap shitty blue "poland" camber plates off ebay, and they were terrible.

They didn't fit the factory top hat for OEM springs (even though they were the ones that he claims are for OEM springs) so I ended up countersinking one of the mounting bolts and running some spacers between the upper and lower plates to make enough room.

After that, I had a problem where my bilsteins had about 2 threads showing above the spherical bearing to attach the strut nut to, and if you decide to tighten the strut nut properly, the springs bind like crazy, and the wheel will pull to whichever direction you were last steering. Not tightening the nut tightly lets it back off every 2-3 days, letting you hear a nice clunk over bumps.

Also, the included hardware uses only split washers as both locking mechanism and washer, which even after I added some regular washers underneath, still didn't work right. eventually all the split washers stretched and were thrown away.

I have now replaced the bearings in these plates twice. Its not a big deal, but they were obviously shitty bearings to begin with, with a good amount of play, even when new. The first bearing split its outer race after being installed for 2 months, and I've killed 5 in total now.

These ebay plates are not designed to last, and are just generally trash.

Since then, I acquired an M3 with a full GC setup and had a look at the camber plates. They're so much better than the ebay plates that I couldn't believe it was supposed to be the same part.

Needless to say, I now have a set of GC plates for this car as well, and unless you like horror stories involving your car, you should think long and hard about the phrase "You get what you pay for."
