Replacing whole strut assemblies, any pointers for real-world tackling of the job?

I have the Bentley and read through it, just wondering if there's any real-world encounters to know about? Just to understand, I'm replacing both old strut assemblies with some newer ones.

    Thanks for pointers!

Remove wheel, caliper (suspend with zip tie), pad wear sensor on drivers side, rotor (if you are re using the rotor), drop outer tie rod, CA ball joint, remove 3 strut mount bolts while supporting weight and you're done.
