    Front suspension squeak (VIDEO)

Hi, i just started to get this suspension squeak today and wanted to know if anyone knew what it was. The car has KYB, H&R oe sport, and delrin CABs.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated, it is only coming from the right front. I searched and the answers were vague, i thought with a video i could get better help.

Wow - that's loud! I would get under the car and have somebody else push up and down on the car so you can pinpoint it.... Might help to have a stethoscope.

I always had the same squeaking on my 318is, everything seemed fine. I found out what it was after I changed my springs. My tophat was rubbing against the strut mount the previous owner didnt install the washer and dust shield that goes in between.

Its not the sway bars or anything, i think the sound is coming from the ball joints on the control arm. Does this sound possible to you guys?

It also sounds like more of a creak from under rather that a squeak.

Check your subframe it could be cracked by the engine mount.

I'd bet it is the delrin CAB. Did you grease them when you put them together? Even if you did, the grease can wear off and you will get squeaking.

No grease, but it just started happening. Ive been running them for a few months and its only one side> It also doesnt sound like the noise is coming from there. It sounds like it is where the ball joint pivots in the middle.
