    Just installed Z3 steering rack

And it works fine, but there is absolutely no steering feel. I can turn the wheel with my pinky. Does anyone else experience this? Personally, I'm not a fan. I rather have some sort of resistance versus it feeling like a video game.

    THANKS GUYS

Not my experience. Ive got a Mavel 2.8 and it felt no different than my stock rack. I have since deleted power steering but thats another story. Just ditch your power steering and get a Condor delete. I like it

What Blunt said. I have the Z3 rack and Condor power steering delete on my e30 and love it everyday of the year. The good part is that if you dont like that set up, the Condor delete was only around $40 and you can just hook your power steering lines back up and everything is back the way it was.

Not my experience at all. When I put the z3 rack on my e30, with power steering, it was noticeably heavier.

If you don't like the steering in Off Road, you aren't playing it right.

Do you think the steering fluid has anything to do with it? I'm using the expensive Lucas Oil stop leak stuff

I am experiencing torque steering with the z3. During turning, it felt heavy at the wheel wanted to go back to center and straight. maybe it have to do with offset bushings, but the e36 rack on my other e30 felt better than the z3 with offset bushings as well.

The z3 rack is mated with a modified solid disk knuckle. the e36 rack still have the rubber disk.

^ did anybody get a wheel alignment afterwards?? Incorrect angles will make for strange steering wheel feel/behavior.

I did, and never had an issue. Tracked dead straight, and had great feel.

Yeah probably alignment issues. You can check out the products at www.alignmentDIY.com, I will give discounts for r3v members. All you need to set front toe are toe plates.
