Help me figure out what to get.

I drive the car daily but I do get my share of thrills out of it. For the money could you guys help me figure out what to buy to make my dirty little e30 a nice fun gokart? i'm going for daily driveable and handles like a dream. Tell me a set up and why it's so great. my car currently has the ebach prokit and the white boge shocks (sport?)

Thats what is on my car right now. I am switching to something a LOT stiffer just... because lol. In my opinion, H&R sports with Bilstein sports is the PERFECT daily driver suspension setup. It handles pretty well and feels a lot more stable at high speeds (as opposed to stock suspension). My mom doesnt even have a problem riding in it so its not THAT stiff. Initially the H&R sports are "soft". You can feel bumps in the road but it doesnt jar you at all. Its pretty comfortable actually. I just drove over 450 miles this weekend all highway and some of the highways were pretty shitty but I never felt like I was being thrown around by the bumps/holes. H&R Sports new are about $225 and a full set of Bilstein sports would be about $470. Thats about $700 for all new stuff. Used springs go for around $135-150 or so.

Ah ok lol. If you're driving the car everyday and stuff, I honestly dont think that a strut brace is worth it unless you just want the bling factor. I would get ST Sway bars from Turner Motorsport. They are about $310. As far as bushings go, CAB's - delrin m3 offset... Subframe/Trailing arm bushings - Stock. If you're gonna be changing the tie rods and control arms, get the Lemfoerder parts. NOT Meyle. Meyle parts suck and they arent much cheaper at all. Lemfoerder is the OEM manufacturer.

for a daily driver, don't waste your money on strut braces.

my ideal street setup would be H&R Sports/Bilsteins, and probably upgraded bushings throughout. In theory, the not overly stiff springs/shocks would make the ride bearable, while the bushings would help with feel and unnecessary movement. At least in my warped mine. As it is, I'll be doing something a little different from that.

i have ground control coil overs, bilstein sports, all poly bushings, st sway bars front and rear, strut brace, m3 offset CAB's, GC camber caster plates, and heavy duty rear shock mounts. all in all i like it, it is on the rough side and you feel a bit of vibration and evry bump you hit. but on a curvy road it is fuckin awsome!
