look for local deals, and also on ebay. I got bnib GC coilover conversion from a 95 toyota celica, and they are the same ones for the e30 with a little modification. Got them for $100 shipped.

Not even close...;) The only thing these two kits have in common are the front tophats.

Alternatively, buy some dirty cheap ebay civic coilovers, keep the adjusters and perches, ditch the springs, and buy some springs from eibach or hypercoil for the rates/lengths you want.

I have done this for our lemons car. It's ok. You'll need to cut down the sleeves to the right length, but conveniently you get 4 sleeves (and shitty springs, and shitty top hats) for $47 shipped.
