    Fix IE3 reverse rake?

Anyone who fixed the Ireland Engineering Stage 3 Springs reverse rake effect on a late model? No I Do Not Want To Cut The Springs! I put them in with Irelands drop hats and street/track camber plates. The drop hats are claimed by IE that they will lower 1/2" and the camber plates 1/8". I still have a sagging rear end effect and I thought I wouldn't need to space the rear. IE did give me 3 little washers with the camber plates and I used those along with the existing washer. I did that because there is a note from IE on their website saying,

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTE: Upon installation be sure to reuse the complaince washer between this plate and the upper strut mount. If this washer is not used (or placed out of sequence) your suspension will bind.
Because of this I was assuming to put the original washer with the three little ones I was provided. Even when removing the three little washers wouldn't drop it that noticeably much more. a friend of mine (ADOPEWITASCOPE) put the H&R races and kmac camber plates and stock drop hat, and he is lower in the front. The springs are used so they should be settled right?

15mm spring pads can be used on the top and bottom of the rear spring. It makes a big difference.

FYI, the first coil in the front springs is a "dead" coil and is completely compressed with the car on the ground. You can cut this off with no effect on handling/spring rate. I know you said you didn't want to cut the springs, but it is an option. Josh (Janderson) did this on his car.

It's the illusion of the wheel arches looking like they're at different heights.

I don't want to risk cutting them uneven and what not, I'll leave that to jdm people.

i feel as if the aftermarket drophats and camber plates you have installed should give you a bit more drop that what is shown in the picture you posted.

maybe when the weather settles, ill give you fender to hub measurements of my setup and we can compare.

Exactly my concern. I'm not sure if I did anything wrong. I know for a fact in the front I have got my springs to sit in the drop hat just right when lowering the car down after installation. I know I can cut the coil, but I want to Auto-X and Track this car so if my debate right now is form over function.

Also on IE3's w/ drophats, see sig. I would just raise the rear a tad with spacers (Ireland Engr. also sells these lol...) or stock spring pads. I feel like your front is sitting too high though. Maybe it does need to settle or remove the front pads

I stacked stock rear pads top and bottom of the spring and this is the effect.
