Having trouble getting the sway bar end links off (88 M3)

Hi all, having a hell of a time getting these sway bar end links off. The insert for the Allen 4mm is all rusted/bored out and the bolt just turns with the screw on both ends of the link. There is not squared off edge from which to gain any leverage. Have tried PB blaster, carb cleaner, wb40, and impact wrench. Any advice? I'm about all out of ideas...thanks. - D

Use a pickle fork or pry bar to put as much torsional pressure on the link as possible. Then use your impact gun in 'bursts' and it should come off. Either that or torch the nut.

Allen bolt? sounds like an aftermarket link. If it's rounded out, you can cut slots and ry to get a flat head in there.
