Just go with the 60/40 springs and call it a day.

I agree, go with 60/40. if it is FK. FK is the same company as that ricer junk in the states-- APC. the FK springs are cheap, and very poorly made, they WILL sag in the rear after a few months, and your rear suspension will be a mushy mess. I am not knocking the FK stuff, just saying it is for looks/ not performance. which is fine if that is what you want.

not to be a dick, but do you speak from experience? i do, and i can tell you that you're wrong. the fk springs are super stiff, and have not sagged even a little bit in the 2 years i've been running them. and from what i've been told they are actually higher spring rates than most springs around and seem very performance worthy.

I thought that FK & KW were TUV approved. That must mean something. TUV is pretty strict isn't it?

As far as cheap and "ricer junk" go, the overall quality of my fk 60/40 was suprising. I had them for almost a year and never experienced any sagging problems nor was my rear suspension a mushy mess. They are however definently for looks, my advice is to buy some decent struts and keep your butthole tightly clenched over potholes, some larger pebbles, entering inclined driveways, etc...

I am working on getting pictures posted for reference...

How would they compare to H&R (reds) and bilistien HD's. The vert in the link is runnning this setup and that looks like a good height. Are "reds" sports?

I'd go with KW's, high quality.

Do the KW 60/40's compare to H&R reds in ride height?

Color is different all the time. My H&R Sports are a dark blue color but my dad's H&R Sports on his Jetta are red.

Does different color mean different spring?

Are you still running 60/40's on the last pic?

I think I am going 60/40. I am thinking also about putting that with some bilistein HD's. Will the HD's make the car a tad bit lower and would the HD's and 60/40 sit right with each other?

yes, i am speaking from experience. do some research and check the FK site!!! I have had FK on a golf III, and on an E30 both were garbage-- on the german twisties, and sagged.
TUV or not, they can still be poor quality- heck, any spring will sag after a while.
and, if you look at the FK website, thier better setups, are made with KONI shocks- or were at least.
IN GERMANY__ FK IS JUNK AND CHEAP!!!! go buy some APC parts too.
KW and koni are the top for E30 IN GERMANY
BILSTEIN is right up there too, but just to damn expensive.

Thanks for the inside info on FK, I've heard they were cheap and KW is high quality.
