    Bilstein Sport Rear question

Hello everybody, I know this has been covered before, but I just want to be 100% sure of this.

So as I was installing my rear bilstein sports, I ran into a big problem: the shocks were allowed free reign to just shoot thru the top of my trunk. There was nothing holding them down.

After doing some research, i discovered that this plate (PN 33526762325) was missing, and bilstein completely failed to mention that.

So I ordered 1 plate per side. Is that correct? Or do I need 2 per side? And is there anything else I need?
Right now all I have is the shock, the RSM, the gasket, and the plate that I just ordered. Is anything else missing?

    Help would be greatly appreciated!

That plate goes between the top of the shock mount and the nut. One per side.

I was talking to a guy from BavAuto on bimmerforums. He said you need 2 of those things per side, one that goes on top and one on the bottom. And you also need bump stops, because bilstein sport rear shocks don't have the internal bump stops that the fronts do.

The shock mount can go directly on to the shock. You don't need that washer on the bottom. I have never run one. Bilsteins do have internal bump stops. You're welcome to do it however you like though. ;)
