    any budget coilover options?

So I'm looking for coilovers to go low, minimum of a 60mm drop and preferably height adjustable. I'm not looking for a super high spring rate because they'll be on my DD, I'm also not looking to do a true coilover conversion. The kicker is I only want to spend 750 including shipping.
Ive sussed joms, people seem to be happy with the front, but the rear barely drops at all, I'm unfamiliar with lowtec but have heard good things. Any help at all is appreciated.

your best bet would be to just buy coilover springs and adjusters and have the front housings shortened
basically copy what the Ground Control kit is for half the price, ive had two e30s lowered that way and both were VERY low and both rode great

i have all the sizes and spring rates for the ones i did, PM me if you want them, i believe the last set i did cost me about $350 over here

Sounds like you'd be a good candidate for some spring cutting.

fyi, spring rates will need to INCREASE as you DECREASE the ride height, fact o' life unless you don't mind bottoming out all the time.

thats not necessarily true, your dampening needs to change but not necessarily spring rates.. within reason..

The key element being "within reason", how would you define that?

Honestly, I just went through and priced out sleeves, adjusters, springs, and top hats and came to $400 before shipping. That doesn't include the rear upper keeper or whatever it's termed and the front collar support or washer. You're honestly going to be hard pressed to beat $430 for the GC coilover conversion kit if you're going to be buying new parts from various vendors on the internet. Maybe if you're buying used parts from other types of cars but it'll still be a pain in the ass.
